You will have to perform longer for the same amount of money you would get from the other events that you can unlock and with this event the locations are very limited compared to the unlockable events. Since it takes no effort to be able to use this event I added a disadvantage. This event works for sims that have the showtime menu only.
You will have three rabbit hole gig options. You will have two playable events in the perform menu. How do you know when you have unlocked everything? Master the skill for your hobby (musicians will have to complete gigs). You will keep certain benefits you worked hard for in your previous profession but some options you might have to work for again. You can unlock more as you perform or take on gigs. You can wear costumes during your performances just for fun. These benefits can also help you with things outside of the showtime mod. They will help you with getting your goals completed, your needs, and will even help you build skills. You unlock them by doing gigs and performing. The more work you do the more you will unlock. Your money will depend on how high your hidden showtime skill is. You can plan out your gigs by starting an event, waiting for a NPC gig, or by unlocking the options in the perform menu. You will be notified whenever you have a gig! 
You can unlock more gigs by building your skills which will depend on your hobby.
They are also good for when you don’t want to manually play out your sims gigs. I know they aren’t “exciting” but they will help you get ahead and build skills. You will be able to make money, earn fame, and quit whenever you are over it. You can work at your own pace and even plan out your events. The showtime menu will help you become rich and famous but you still have to put in your own personal work.
